University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is a teaching hospital that utilises Eolas Medical trust-wide for its antimicrobial guidelines.
The migration from the old system to Eolas Medical was facilitated by excellent support from the Eolas team. Staff highlighted the great service provided throughout the transition, noting that trust-level hurdles were the primary challenges to overcome rather than any issues with the platform itself. Once the migration was complete, the benefits of having guidelines on the new platform continued seamlessly, ensuring no disruption to clinical workflows.
Staff found Eolas Medical's training materials to be of high quality, describing them as easy to find and access. The platform's intuitive design meant that clinicians could quickly familiarise themselves with the new system, and any questions raised during the transition were met with fast responses from the Eolas team.

UHBW has identified opportunities for further enhancing the platform's utility, including the development of built-in clinical calculators for gentamicin and vancomycin dosing, as well as the ability to download complete PDF versions of guidelines for trust legal and governance requirements.
